Qualifications
● Minimum 1 year of experience in a leadership role, preferably in non-profits, food security, health, or social services
● Experience with grant writing and donor relations
● Familiarity with budgeting and financial oversight
● Strong background in staff supervision and policy adherence
● Post-secondary education in management, public administration, or a related field is an asset
● Knowledge of the issues related to QCFC’s mandate
● Proven track record of strong, compassionate leadership
● Exceptional ability to foster a collaborative culture with leadership, staff, and the Board of Directors
● Strong writing and communication skills
● Proven ability to plan, prioritize, implement, oversee, and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously
● Proficiency in Google Suite, and ability to work with various software (experience with Keela and NetSuite is an asset)
● Experience living and working in Nunavut is a strong asset
● Fluency in Inuktitut is a strong asset
● Experience working in the food services industry is an asset
● Experience working with vulnerable populations is an asset
● Other lived experiences, education, and skills will be considered in lieu of formal education and related work experience

Working Conditions
● 5 days per week, 7.5 hours per day
● 30 days annual leave per year, 5 days cultural leave, and 12 days of sick leave per year
● Ability to work evenings and weekends as required
● Ability to travel as required
● May include evening or weekend hours during events or peak periods
● Subject to high pace and multitasking demands
● $120,000 to $140,000 per year
